About Trade License A Trade License (Certificate of Enlistment) is mandatory for carrying out any trade, business, or profession within the jurisdiction of Dhulian Municipality.
How to Apply Online Citizens can apply for a new Trade License or renew an existing one through the official West Bengal eDistrict Portal.

Steps to Apply:
1. Register / Login on the eDistrict portal using mobile number (OTPbased).
2. Select the service – Issuance of Trade License (Certificate of Enlistment) or Auto Renewal of Trade License.
3. Fill in the online application form with accurate details.
4. Upload the required documents.
5. Pay the applicable fees online.
6. On successful verification and payment, the Certificate is generated in realtime (in most cases).

Identity Proof of the applicant (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / PAN Card / Driving Licence / Passport)
Proof of Occupancy / Ownership of the business premises:
Current Municipal Property Tax Receipt (for owner)
Rent Receipt / Rent Agreement + NOC from landlord (for tenant)
